Reset Alarms |
After a smoke alarm has been triggered, this function removes smoke detector power for the programmed length of time (SMOKE VER. TIME – step 25 in 5230 programming). This allows the smoke detector to sense new alarm conditions. |

Clear Alarm Memory |
1. Clears all data out of the alarm memory 2. Resets the 4180 Status Display Module |

Display Alarm Memory |

Silencing the system |
To silence the on-board trouble tone, follow these steps Disable the zone by pressing the zone number + Shunt (Or disable) + installer or MC Reset the system by pressing 1 + Enter + installer or MC The zone is now in trouble because of the disabled zone and can be silenced in the normal way by pressing Silence |

Set Time |
To set the time, follow this procedure: 1. Press 9 + Enter. the 7-segment display will show -9, indicating that you are in the SET TIME mode. 2. Enter installer code. The SET MODE LED will turn on. 3. Enter the time in military time, using a string of 4-digits. When you have pressed the fourth digit, the SET MODE LED will turn off. EXAMPLE: To set the time of 3:30PM, press the following digits after entering the SET TIME mode: 1530 |
