Identify Panel Open Cover, should see nothing in top left corner (Simon 2 shows “Simon Version 2”)

Panic Buttons Hold EMERGENCY or press EMERGENCY twice = Police Panic
Away Arm Press ARM DOORS & WINDOWS and ARM MOTION SENSORS
Stay Arm Press ARM DOORS & WINDOWS
Instant Arm Press ARM DOORS & WINDOWS twice (Voice says “NO DELAY”)
Latchkey Arm Press ARM DOORS & Windows twice (Latchkey mode MUST be enabled)
From keyfob press LOCK 3 times
Disarm Enter User Code (Voice says “SYSTEM DISARMED”)
Subdisarm Enter User Code twice (Disarms 24-hr zones like gun cabinets)
Silence Alarm Enter User Code (Voice says “SYSTEM DISARMED”)
Alarm Memory Press STATUS to hear previous alarms (Press DISARM to clear)
Check Status Press SYSTEM STATUS (Speaks Time, Troubles, Open Zones)
Bypass Sensors Open Door or Window and Arm system (Open zones automatically bypass)
Door Chimes Press CHIME DOORS button (CHIME DOORS button will light)
Set Clock 1. Open Keypad Cover and enter Master Code using RED Number Keys
2. Press CLOCK SET button
3. Set time with HOURS and MINUTES buttons
4. Press DONE when complete
5. Close Keypad Cover
Sensor Test
1. Open Keypad Cover and enter Master Code using RED Number Keys
2. Press TEST button once then press DONE (Leave cover open)
3. Keypad will say a list of all sensors that need tested
4. Open Door or Window, move by motion and it will be removed from list
5. When all sensors are tested keypad says “Sensor test complete press DONE”
6. Press DONE and close cover
(Wireless motions require no movement for 4 minutes prior to testing)
Battery Reset
(Older Simon)
1. Open Keypad Cover and enter Master Code using RED Number Keys
2. Press TEST button once then press DONE
3. Close cover and press SYSTEM STATUS to see if low battery is gone
Phone Test
1. Open Keypad Cover and enter Master Code using RED Number Keys
2. Press TEST button twice
3. Keypad says “Phone test is On”
If Phone test is good keypad says “Phone test ok” In 2 minutes
If Test is bad keypad says “Phone Communication Failure” in 10 minutes
Turn on Lights (if enabled)
Press SYSTEM STATUS then 7-8 key (Turns lights ON)
or
Press SYSTEM STATUS then 9-0 key (Turns lights OFF)
or
Press LIGHTS TIME ACTIVATED (Turns lights on at specific time)
or
Press LIGHTS SENSOR ACTIVATED (Turns lights on if a sensor is activated)
Keyfob Buttons
Arm Stay Press LOCK button once
Arm Away Press LOCK button twice
Disarm Press UNLOCK button
Police Panic Press LOCK and UNLOCK together
Star Key Activates Garage Door (if enabled)
Light Bulb key Press to turn Lamp Modules On/Off

ITI Simon “Peacekeeper” by Protect America and “Simon Basic” will NOT do X-10, all other Simon’s will
Troubleshooting 1. X-10 module on wrong “leg” of AC wiring and can’t communicate with Panel
2. Wrong House Code or Unit ID
Garage Opener
(* on Keyfob)
(Requires X-10 Universal Module) CLICK HERE for Universal Module

1. Open Cover and enter Master Code
2. Press ADD then LIGHT CONTROL to assign House Code A to F (usually leave at A) + DONE
(This must match Universal Module dials connected to garage door)
3. Press ADD then LIGHT CONTROL then UNIT# until correct Unit ID sounds
(Must match X-10 Universal Module dials as well)
4. Press SENSORS until correct sensor is heard (Keyfob)
6. Press DONE to save and close cover
(Universal Module switches must be set for Momentary and Relay Only)
Program Lights (Requires Lamp Module) CLICK HERE for Lamp Module

1. Open Cover and enter Master Code
2. Press ADD then press LIGHT CONTROL to assign House Code (A to F) then DONE
(This must match Lamp Module dials connected to Light)
3. Press ADD then LIGHT CONTROL then UNIT# to assign Unit Number
(This must match Lamp Module dials as well)
Unit 1 to 8 most common, controlled by LIGHTS TIME or SENSOR ACTIVATED
Unit 9 to 16 are activated by All On or All Off commands (Keyfobs etc)
Unit 10 Flashes Lamps to Arming Level (1 Flash = Disarm, 2 = Stay, 3 = Away)
4. Press SENSORS to pick sensor that will activate Lamp Module then DONE
5. Close cover
Lights Entry/Exit

2. Press ADD then LIGHT CONTROL to assign House Code (A to F) then DONE
3. Press ADD + LIGHT CONTROL + UNIT# to assign Unit Number
4. Press ENTRY/EXIT DELAY
5. Close Cover
6. Set dials on Lamp Module to House Code (Letter Dial) and Unit# (Number Dial)
(Lights turn ON for 4 minutes during Entry and Exit Delay)
Lights Time
Activated

1. Open Simon Cover, enter Master Code
2. Press ADD then LIGHT CONTROL to assign House Code (A to F) then DONE
3. Press ADD + LIGHT CONTROL + UNIT# to assign Unit Number
4. Press TIME and select Start time with HOURS and MINUTES then DONE
5. Press HOURS and MINUTES to set End time then DONE
6. Close cover
7. Set dials on Lamp Module to House Code (Letter Dial) and Unit# (Number Dial)
(Activate by pressing LIGHTS TIME ACTIVATED button)
PowerHorn
Siren Setup
(Requires PowerHorn Module) CLICK HERE for PowerHorn Siren

1. Open Simon Cover, enter Master Code
2. Press ADD then LIGHT CONTROL to assign House Code (A to F) then DONE
3. Close Cover
4. Set Letter Dial on PowerHorn 1 Letter higher (if Simon is set at A then use B)
5. Set Unit Number Dial on PowerHorn (1 to 15) for Siren sounds only
or Unit Number 9 for Siren, Arming, Status and Trouble Beeps
