Caddx NX Keypad Programming
Do this while OUT of Panel programming
Keypad Options Enter * 93 + Installer Code (Service LED will flash)
(Toggle On/Off then * to save and exit)
Option ON OFF
I_ _I 1 Reserved, do NOT program
I_ _I 2 Supress E/E beeps and chime
I_ _I 3 Ding Dong Sound for Chime Single Tone
I_ _I 4 Silence keypad sounder on keypress
I_ _I 5 Armed Status Supression Disabled
I_ _I 6 Enable Panic Key Beep Disabled
I_ _I 7 Supress “Service” LED Disabled
I_ _I 8 Multi Partition Viewing Disabled (Must be off on NX-4)
Keypad Number
and Partitioning 		1. Enter * 94 + Installer Code (Service and Instant LEDs will flash)
2. Enter Keypad Address desired (1 to 8)
3. Press * (Service flashes, Instant on Steady)
4. Enter Partition for Keypad (1 to 8 depending on NX Panel)
  Keypad automatically exits
Zone Descriptor 1. Enter * 92 + Installer Code (Keypad Prompts for Zone)
2. Enter 1 to 52 + # Zone 1 to 48 = Standard Zones
Zone 49 = Custom Message Top Line
Zone 50 = Custom Message Bottom Line
Zone 51 = Shutdown Message Top Line
Zone 52 = Shutdown Message Bottom Line
4. Enter new Descriptor CANCEL moves Left
* saves and moves Right one space
UP/DOWN Arrows selects word or character
STAY inserts space
CHIME deletes a character
BYPASS causes character or word to flash
EXIT accesses word library (listed below)
3. When finished with Zone description press # to exit
